Between Langhe Roero & Monferrato

The family owns about 15 hectares of vineyards, all in Montabone, a small village which lies on the hills of Monferrato, in the south of the province of Asti, at the beginning of the Asti Langa, where the landscape is part of the Buffer-Zone of the Italian 50th UNESCO World heritage site (Paesaggi Vitivinicoli di Langhe-Roero e Monferrato).

Vineyards are all implanted in circumvatingterraces and bred with Guyot system, at an altitude between 320 and 350 m above sea level, in a soil mainly composed by marl and sandstone.

Grapes

Azienda Agricola Gallo make their wines just with their own grapes, hand picked in the estate in Montabone

Km Zero Wines

Grape are harvested and immediately transported from the nearby vineyard to the cellar, in aim to preserve their unique characteristic.

The Art of Winemaking

All the winemaking process is followed by our winemakers with passion and respect for the grapes, in aim to obtain every year high quality wines.

Wine Shop, Tours & Tasting

Through all the year you can visit winery and vineyards, and you can taste our wines in our historic cellar, build in 1831. And if you like, you can purchase them in our Wine Shop where you can find all the wines, Grappa selection and also the famous “Mostarda dolce della Nonna”.
